3. About Me I have graduated from college 3 times:
University of Utah 1987 Child and Family Development
Salt Lake Community College 2002 ASL Interpreting
2009 Western Governors University Post Baccalaureate K-8 Teacher Certification.
2016 Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction
This is my 6th year teaching 3rd grade. I previously taught 4th for two years and 5th for one year.
I have 5 kids my oldest is 31 my youngest is 20. I am a grandma to Isaak, Gabriel , Mack Rory, Duke, Sadie and Georgiana
I enjoy reading, being with my family, biking, and SCHOOL! Learning new things is one of my favorite things.

4. My Teaching Philosophy
Students have the right to an environment that is safe, nurturing, and which provides them with the best possible chance for success.
Students have the right to curriculum that is tailored to their needs and interests.
I have the responsibility to determine the needs of students and provide appropriate instruction.
Students have the responsibility to work hard, do their best, behave appropriately, and never give up.
All members of our classroom community have the responsibility to work together to establish and maintain an environment that promotes academic, social and emotional growth
Parents are encouraged to become active participants in the classroom community through volunteering, encouraging their student to do his/her best, and communicating with me through , telephone or other means.
