1 Mrs. Hake’s Friday, march 24th edition CLASSROOM news Week in Review: Sneak Peak We introduced our camping theme by having students make binoculars in the art center. In the science center we sorted insects. We used our knowledge of letter sounds to fill in the missing letters of camping objects and we used our fine motor skills to move bait into different compartments of our fishing tackle box., We wrote about what we would take on a camping trip, where we would go, who would go with us and what we would do. We played several camping games such as sorting items that have sh at the beginning and items that have sh at the end, reading sentences and choosing the picture that illustrated it, and fishing for sight words.
