Education Requirements
Students need a minimum of 382 units to complete the B.S. degree The minimum requirements for becoming an engineer consist of a bachelor’s degree from a university accredited engineering program.
4
Skills and Abilities Needed
These programs, which usually include various hands-on laboratory classes that focus on current issues in the application of engineering principles, prepare students for practical design and production work, rather than for jobs that require more theoretical and scientific knowledge Admissions requirements for undergraduate engineering schools include a solid background in mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus) and science (biology, chemistry, and physics), with courses in English, social studies, and humanities.
5
Tasks and Duties Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

What I Learned About Engineering
I didn’t learn that much about engineering because I already knew a lot of stuff about it. I had already been researching stuff about it because its what I want to major in in college. I learned the average amount they make in a yearly salary, I already knew they made a lot of money but I didn’t know the price range. I knew what steps to take and that there are many things to do while in high school to prepare yourself for engineering in college.
