I’ll know this is successful when
Not sure how to begin? To begin to form your own Scenarios, consider using the following framework: As someone in Sales Management I want to have a single version of the proposal that everyone can access and edit rather than ing different versions around the team Using a SharePoint site to centrally store and share a single version of a sales proposal that my team can edit together using co-authoring in Word and PowerPoint I’ll know this is successful when my sales team can create proposals more easily and therefore have more time to close deals

Awareness Communications Engagement events
6/3/2018 4:28 AM Awareness We knew we had to be crystal clear with employees about how Office 365 would make their lives easier and help them do their jobs better. So, we branded it as four things: Work Anywhere, Work Anytime You Like, Work Together, and Work on Any Device. Joe Kamara Lead Change Manager, Nec Group Communications Deploy a variety of tactics Focus on the “what’s in it for me?” Tailor plan to company and culture Send out communications Engagement events Engage executive sponsors to kick-off event Staff events with IT and Champions Distribute banners and leaflets Place demo booths in cafeteria/foyer Host online events for remote offices Pre-Launch Launch Post-Launch © Microsoft Corporation. 6/3/2018 Training Focus on the why Make sure employees know why the change is happening, what’s in it for them, and why they’re being asked to change Use real work scenarios Use tasks, or business processes, that are familiar to your audience as a way to draw them into learning how to use the technology Use multiple formats Training end users should take on multiple forms to accommodate different learning styles, geographical barriers, and resource constraints Reinforce Make the training stick with reinforcement options like on-demand training, lunch and learn sessions, and new employee training options To help with change management and adoption, we created corporate Office 365 training materials with a consistent approach to using the services that discouraged customization and kept complexity to a minimum. As a design principle, we use the default settings in Office 365 for at least six months. Anders Munck, Enterprise Architect, Carlsberg © 2014 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. Customer lessons learned
6/3/2018 Customer lessons learned Getting full value from Office 365 is a priority for Standard Bank. We believe it is critical to dedicate an internal team who is responsible for adoption and, most importantly, ensuring our Lines of Business and functions achieve their goals with Office This entails working with our business stakeholders to identify and prioritize their Office 365 business scenarios by “getting in the work”, knowing who they are, understanding their motivations and having an appreciation for what they are trying to accomplish. Ian Doyle, IT Executive, Standard Bank We want them to love this tool, and part of that is not only listening to employees, but taking that feedback and truly turning it around and implementing that feedback. Jeff Schuman, Enterprise Applications Leader Collaboration and Social Computing Alongside the FastTrack Team, CSC instigated its own change management processes to help drive employee adoption of Office 365. Following a pilot project where early adopters looked at the services and reviewed help documentation, CSC hosted optional training sessions for two months after rollout. Susan Carter, Knowledge Management, Advisor CSC We had dedicated teams that did a lot of planning up front. And Yammer proved itself as a perfect grassroots change agent; teams formed dynamically and worked alongside the implementation groups in each country. Conversations started all over the place, and this turned out to be a fantastic channel for end-user support.By the time the Office 365 deployment was complete, I wondered how we could have got on without this tool. Andy Tidd, CIO, ABB Dedicate resources for adoption Learn, iterate and reinforce Conduct a dry-run launch prior to full rollout Use Office 365 tools to execute your launch © 2014 Microsoft Corporation. Conduct an Early Adoption Program (EAP)
Why do an EAP? Who should be involved in the EAP user group? Gather initial feedback and identify potential stumbling blocks. Get feedback from users on the identified goals and scenarios. Solve any potential problems with a much smaller group of users. Develop and recruit from a pool of potential Office 365 Champions. People who want the project to be successful. Users from across different lines of business and departments. Users who are likely to be involved in the Office 365 Champions Program. Leaders who will become advocates. Users who typically struggle with technology. Involved IT/help desk team members. © Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
