1. Skyward Mass Add of Students from one Entity to another Entity
Pre School to Kindergarten
Fourth Grade to Fifth Grade
Eighth Grade to Ninth Grade

2. Process to Mass Add Students
Chose the entity that the students are coming from.
Click on Student
Click on Setup
Click on Utilities
Choose Mass Add Students to Entity

3. Utility – Range
Example: Adding 4th grade from elementary to 5th grade at middle school.
Choose Range
Enter grade range, select school, select calendars. (See next slide for school selection.)

4. School Selection
Choose the Entity you are adding the students to.

5. Next Year School Status
Add Student to Entity Entry should be Robertsville for Linden.
Student Status is INACTIVE (otherwise it would effect current year RMS)
Next Year Status is ACTIVE (in RMS)
Membership is NO so they will not be counted in current year.

6. Entry Record Values
Enter the mass enroll date which is the schedule start date (date teachers return) not the first day of attendance. (see next slide)
“E” Enrolled
Normal Progression
Regular Student
Click OK
SAVE

7. Enroll Dates
For Willow Brook and Pre School the Enroll Date is the year round calendar schedule start date.
For all other schools the Enroll Date is the traditional calendar schedule start date.

8. Preschool to Elementary
Go to District and Print the Data Mining Report SLL Upcoming Kindergarten.
It will print in school order.
In the Utility for Mass Add of Students edit the Ranges Next Year School with the correct Elementary.
For Preschool to Willow Brook be sure to use the correct enroll date.
