How we construct geographic questions: Why do we think geographically? A uniquely informed perspective on the earth’s physical features and its human inhabitants.

Green Party Platform All parties in the 2015 Canadian federal election have plans that address the economy: Environment Jobs and Industry Investment Climate Infrastructure Taxes These plans will be informed by many different types of data. One type of data may be geographic and may inform how the party views the country in terms of areas to implement policy- i.e. regions. If you were advising a party, how would you suggest the party divide up the country into regions that could receive targeted policies based on the unique needs and characteristics of the region? B: Political Bloc A: Physiographic Pick 1 comparative region from each of the versions: Pick from the questions we devised as a group, or select your own and research the answers as they relate to your chosen regions. Use the second page of the task sheet from Wednesday’s class. Post your notes to the Regions Research assignment before next class (Tuesday).
