This leaves large gaps in coverage which can be filled with supplemental plans. Advanced premium tax credits for EHB plans are available for individuals or families making up to 400% of the federal poverty level. Tax credits can be used to purchase extra coverage and fill the gaps left by high deductibles and coinsurance on EHB plans.
