Remember, Congress… Is the Legislative Branch.
They meet in the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. They are entrusted with making federal laws.

The powers of Congress are limited by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The powers of congress can be found in Article 1 section 8 of the constitution

Expressed Powers are clearly written out in the Constitution. Also called Enumerated Powers.

Implied Powers are those Congress has to make laws that are “necessary and proper.” It is in the “elastic clause.”
