Animal Facts Description A Spotted Hyena is a yellowish gray color and has black spots. It has powerful jaws and good senses. It ways up to pounds. Spotted Hyenas can be as tall as 2-5 feet. Diet Spotted Hyenas are Carnivores. Spotted Hyenas eat Antelope, Zebra, Insects, Fish and scraps Lions leave behind. Movement Spotted Hyenas run, walk and crawl. 4 Life Cycle Baby Spotted Hyenas are born through live birth and four can be born at a time. It takes months for the cub to develop inside the mother.
