A Peek at Our Week
Parents,
I cannot get the newsletter completed each day due to making it the same across the grade level . Therefore, I will send it home on Mondays.
There are several things that went home last week. Parent handbook signature pages (the back of the stapled handbook), household income survey, as well as t-shirt orders are all due on Friday, September 4th.
Don’t forget to practice homereaders nightly!! The students are making good progress. I need magazines desparately! Please send them in asap if you have any. We will be using them all year long. Thanks!!!
Please make sure your child’s Daily Communication log binder stays in their folders.

We are beginning our study of writing Narratives on “small moments”. This is a skill modeled by me each day and then they write.
Math
This week in Math we are working on using a number line to subtract. We are also working on identifying PM times.
THU
Language- We are working on our study of adjectives. Mentor sentences is an ongoing skills teaching punctuation, capitalization, nouns, verbs, adjectives.
FRI
We are learning how to navigate Lexia Reading this week. As soon as I feel comfortable with it, I will send home log in information for home.
