Honesty -vs- Sensationalism Over-confident in our own understanding Acknowledge God’s blessing & unchageability. God’s normal work involves us. Testimony We need to become people of testimony. Not rationalizing or minimizing Wrong narratives and false ideas

Many people blessed as God spoke. We will become better at hearing His voice.

Mystery evident in Jesus’ ministry: A woman with bleeding touches his cloak (Mark 5:25ff) He commands healing from afar for centurion (Luke 7:2ff) Does few miracles in Nazareth – unbelief (Mark 6:1ff) Sends a man to Siloam to wash off spit and clay (John 9:6) Touches a blind man twice to heal him (Mark 8:22ff)

We do not know why some are healed and some not.

The Disciples: The 12 and the 72 see many miracles (Luke 9, 10) Later unable to heal a boy with unclean spirit (Mark 9:17) Someone – not disciple – casts out demons (Mark 10:38) People healed by Peter’s shadow (Acts 5:15) Handkerchiefs etc touched by Paul, healed (Acts 19:11) We do not know why some are healed and some not.

Living It We must live in the whole New Life we have in Christ.
Not limit our spirituality to what we are comfortable with Grow in our practice of the New Life: Sabbath, remembering, rest and celebration. Regular faithful prayer. Reading and studying scripture for transformation. Practice hospitality, service, care for one another Prophetic and healing ministry – with humility & grace. Worship, testimony and thanksgiving.
