“Both the children and adults at Ravenbank fully agree with Bill Gates when he said, “It’s really kind of cool to have solar panels on your roof.” As well as the environmental impact of enjoying solar energy today to help the people of tomorrow, financial savings however big or small are crucial as school budgets continue to be reduced. We have enjoyed working with Lymm Community Energy and we think that the future for solar energy at Ravenbank is really bright!” Lesley Sweeney, Headteacher, Ravenbank School

“The installation of the solar panels has been a success
“The installation of the solar panels has been a success. It has been an integral investment within our school. In addition we have now installed LED lighting to make even more energy savings. Oughtrington Primary school have been astounded with the savings since the panels were installed and this reaffirms our good decision to go solar. As an Eco School, we are extremely happy with the results so far. Richard and his colleagues gave a short presentation on ways the school can further control our energy use and as a result all staff and pupils are working together to be more energy efficient. We are very appreciative of all the support given by Lymm Community Energy and hope our work together continues.” Emma Baldwin, Oughtrington Primary School
