12/12-12/16 Dates to Remember: Holiday Party 12/15: Holiday Party
Math: Students will be learning how to determine the solutions to problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes using pictorial models or tools. Science: Students will be demonstrating and observing how position and motion can be changed by pushing and pulling objects to show work being done, such as swings, balls, pulleys and wagons. Reading: Students will engage with two concepts: Compare / Contrast (Learning how to compare and contrast within text) and Procedural Text (Learning how to identify, follow and script procedural text. Social Studies: Students will learn about ordinary citizens who made tremendous contributions to society, starting with Clara Barton. Dates to Remember: 12/15: Holiday Party 12/16: Polar Express Day Early Dismissal at 12:30 Holiday Party Our Holiday Party is scheduled for Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in our classroom. We will be having breakfast items, buffet style. We will most likely be starting our game/craft around 8:10. Please use the link provided to sign up for at least one item.
