Anatomy of a Polar Bear Polar Bears have fat under their skin to keep warm. Polar Bears have white, thick fur. Polar Bears have furry ears and sharp teeth. Polar Bears have 4 legs. Polar Bears have webbed paws for swimming. Polar Bears can smell from 40 miles away. Full grown Polar Bears will weigh the same as 3 tigers.

Polar Bears live on cold rocky islands – Icebergs. Polar Bears live where no trees grow. Polar Bear mothers build a den.

Life Cycle OF A POLAR BEAR
Polar Bear babies are called cubs. Polar Bears can have 2 cubs at a time. When Polar Bear babies are born they can not see or hear. Polar Bear cubs stay with their mother for about 2 years. Polar Bears live from 15 – 18 years in the wild. Polar Bears live to reach 30 years in captivity.

Polar Bears usually hunt alone. Polar Bears’ favorite food are seals. Out of all bears Polar Bears eat the most meat. Polar Bears swim 60 miles(97 kilometers) at a time. Polar Bears rarely kill humans. Enemy
