The facts 54% of secondary school students in NZ participated in sport for their school in 2014 – NZSSSC Census 46% DIDN’T 281, 555 students – 129, 515 didn’t play sport

Questions Why is it important for students to participate in sport/physical activity? Who are they? How do you identify? What motivates kids to engage in sport? What are the barriers to participation? Who’s role is it to engage students? Who can help?
