The continuing of our Mission
Our Trip to Mercury Mercury is 132 million miles from the Earth. We are not able to see Mercury from earth. I would need to use a telescope. We went to Mercury in a jet once and it took 6 in a half years. We can travel there in 40 days by spacecraft. The diameter of Mercury is miles and the area of Mercury is 28 million miles.mercury is 38 percent of earth. Our Trip to Venus Venus is 146 million miles from the Earth. It would take 6 in a half years to travel to Venus in jet.It would take the same amount of time to drive there.Venus is 67,237,910 km from the sun.It has taken a spacecraft 110 days to travel to Venus.

We Know This… Our Trip to Venus: Our Trip to Mercury:
Mercury has a rocky surface a cratered, rocky planet that look similar to our moon. It has changed very little from when it was first formed. Scientists think that there may be volcanic activity on Mercury. They are still studying information sent to Earth from the Mariner spacecraft to make sure. One of Mercury's largest features is called the Caloris Basin. It was probably created by a very large crash early in the history of our solar system.
