Myths - Notes Native American culture has a rich tradition of myths.
Myths are a type of story that are connected with religious rituals and explain the world people live in along with their traditions. Myths also comfort people when they are afraid and give them a sense of cultural identity. Think about some myths that you are familiar with and tell what they explain to people along with the comfort these myths provide.
