What do to do succeed in Asia ?
Visit local teams at least 2x/year, ideally every Quarter Why ? Create relationship Build trust Communicate directly with local team Control quality Control Quality and explain what you wish + check they understand. Invite local management in Europe (1x/year to every 2 years) Know and understand the culture Page 4

How to approach the Asian Markets ?
Find a good partner – trustable Establish personal relationship with him Today Asia (China and India) is interested in technologies and KT. Beware: copy right in China means “the right to copy!” For Chinese, being copied is an honor. Keep the heart of the technology in Europe: R&D + prod. Have a local presence with customers & suppliers increases trust from local partners. Think long term and explain it to your partner.
