2. Task- Beginning to write your song- the music
Decide on the key- major or minor
Choose your 4 chords (I IV V and vi) and create your chord progression
Record your chord progression and then add any other layers (bassline, long held on notes etc..)

3. Task- Choosing your Lyrics and setting the text
Decide on a subject for your song- love/hate/friendship or something completely random!
You are going to write the lyrics for a verse and a chorus only
Write 4 lines minimum- they don’t have to rhyme
