Became the Philadelphia Athletics in 1901 Won 5 champion ships in Philadelphia Three from and two back to back in 1929 and 1930 Team owner and manager for 50 years was Connie Mack

Oakland Athletics Been in Oakland, California since 1968
They have currently 4 world series victories Three consecutive from and one more in 1989 along with their three consecutive pennants. They have the only stadium shared by a baseball and football team Been like that since 1995

“The White Elephants” The Oakland Athletics mascot has been the white elephant since it was first established in Philadelphia. The New York Giants manager coined the term in a press conference. In 1909 the A’s were wearing the patch on there arm and had officially adopted the logo.

The coliseum is the only baseball field shared with a football team Is the smallest stadium with only 34,077 possible seats available.
