P.E. continues to be on Monday’s and Thursday's Please ensure that your child has appropriate P.E. kit on these days, including trainers (please see school P.E. Position Statement for further guidance). On Thursday we will be going outdoors for P.E. so we may need something slightly warmer to wear. Our focus this term is Athletics, where we will develop our skills in running, jumping and throwing. In Literacy & English, we have been developing our understanding of our class novel, not just with our reading strategies but through Drama activities. Ask us about hot seating, frame freezes and thought tracking! Our next novel will be ‘Billionaire Boy’ by David Walliams! We are a very imaginative class, and we will be using this to write engaging narrative texts. Ask us about the diving giraffes! In Numeracy and Mathematics we will be focusing on division, money and measure. We continue to use a wide range of activities and games in order to develop our knowledge and support our learning, including ICT. We are continuing our Democracy focus, alongside Room 11. We will be focusing on debating and elections. We are looking forward to our trip to the cinema, and will soon be voting for what film we see!
