As provided for by the law N°41/2015 of 29/08/2015 relating to disaster management, Disaster management organs are: National Disaster Management Committee, abbreviated as “NADIMAC”; National Disaster Management Technical Committee, abbreviated as “NADIMATEC”; District Disaster Management Committee, abbreviated as “DIDIMAC”; Sector Disaster Management Committee, abbreviated as “SEDIMAC”; National Platform for Disaster Management, abbreviated as “NPDM”. Disaster management and culture of safety is enhanced in schools;
Use knowledge, innovation and education to build a culture of safety and resilience at all levels Disaster management and culture of safety is enhanced in schools; Disaster Risk Reduction Clubs created in Secondary schools Curricula on disaster management have been developed in partnership with MINEDUC; Awareness campaigns on disasters have been made a priority; Trainings are provided at all levels; Insurance on some disasters is stipulated in the law and sensitization is being done.
