4 Personal Responsibility & Pride Behavior
IDs: They must be visible on you at all times Teacher’s will PAC if you need a new one and it will be delivered to you. You most have your ID on when leaving/entering class. If you are seen in the hallway without your ID, you will be escorted back to class IDs are worn by staff and students for safety and security

5 ID Consequences – Starting March 7th
1. Warning, student is issued a new ID 2. After School Detention for 1 hour, student is issued a new ID 3. After School Detention for 2 hours, student is issued a new ID 4. Saturday School, student is issued a new ID

Make sure you are picking up after yourself and your peers: - Do not leave trash on the tables or floor - Don’t pass it up – Pick it up!

11 Attendance and Credit Denial
Students must be in instruction 90% of the school year Regardless of the grade you earned in class, credit will be denied until the attendance hours are made up You may make up attendance hours through tutorials or Saturday school Spring 10 absences Ms. Thompson will be calling you in if you owe hours from last semester – have till the 20th to make up before run rank/gpa

12 Attendance Challenge Every 2nd Period Class will be competing to see who has the highest attendance rate for the 5th 6weeks. Teachers will keep track of their 2nd Period attendance on a daily and weekly bases. At the end of the 6weeks, the top three classes with the highest percentage will receive a Breakfast Taco Party!!! Make sure you and your classmates are at school everyday – make them and yourself accountable!!

13 NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
You are required to attend a National Honor Society Application workshop if you are interested in applying for membership in our chapter. You must have an overall GPA of 90%. Meetings this week: 4:15 pm on T, W, Th 8:00 and 4:15 on Friday

14 AP Exams AP Exam Registration Letters went out last week
Your form along with a $15 deposit is due March 4th to Ms. Thompson in the front office. Turn in your scholarship application for the exam fees at the same time Remember you must attend Saturday sessions to be eligible A final bill will be sent out towards the end of March AP Exams will be May 2nd – May 13th

15 Registration IF you registered for an ACC Dual Credit Class – you must also register with ACC and pass the TSI college ready exam Go to the CCC to sign up to take the TSI and get help with ACC registration process This needs to be taken care of ASAP! Students that are in ACC History right now will be registering on Thursday of this week and Tuesday of next week.

CCHS PROM DRESS CODE CCHS staff and administration want you to make good choices. We are not trying to inhibit your style. Prom should be fun, but we want everyone to be comfortable and safe. With that in mind, the following dress code guidelines will be enforced at the Cedar Creek High School Prom.

18 Boys Formal Attire

19 BOYS FORMAL ATTIRE Formal prom attire may be classified as a tuxedo or dress suit, including a tie, bow tie, a turtle neck, a shirt, which may include a vest or cummerbund. Shirts are to be worn at all times. Dress shoes, dress tennis shoes, or dress boots must be worn.

23 GIRLS FORMAL ATTIRE Formal prom attire may be classified as a floor-length dress, knee-length cocktail dress, ball gown, or a dressy suit.

24 Dresses may not be cut below the bust line.
#1 Dresses may not be cut below the bust line. The bust continues around your sides directly under the armpit. With arms down at your side, if flesh touches flesh below the bust line, the dress is inappropriate. Bust Line Bust Line (on the side) This dress meets dress code.

26 Dresses may be backless as long as they are not cut
#2 Dresses may be backless as long as they are not cut below the naval. Please note how the bust is covered on the sides. These dresses meet the dress code.

36 Prom tickets will be on sale after Spring Break
Prom tickets will be on sale after Spring Break. Please listen for announcements. You must show your I.D. to pick up your tickets. You may not pick up someone else’s tickets. Obligations will be checked prior to distribution of tickets so be sure all of your obligations are paid in full. If you are assigned to Gateway after buying your Prom ticket you will not be allowed to attend. No refunds. A list of students who purchased tickets will be checked at the door. Once you leave the building you will NOT be allowed to reenter. Doors open at 8:00 pm No entry after 11:00 pm Prom ends at 12:00 am

37 BOUTIQUE DAY 2016 Every year, the ladies of Texas Lonestars work hard to provide a Boutique Day for high school girls in the surrounding Austin area that might not otherwise get the chance to attend their high school prom. On Boutique Day, prom-goers arrive and work with their very own personal shopper (a Texas Lonestar) to pick out that one special dress, free of cost!  Along with their special dress, prom-goers will work with their personal shopper to pick out a pair of shoes, jewelry, and accessories to finish off the perfect prom outfit. Other prom necessities will be raffled off including gift certificates for prom dinners, up-dos, nail appointments, and more! Mark your calendars! Boutique Day 2016 will be held on Sunday, April 10th from approximately It will be held at the Recreational Sports Center here at UT, which is located at San Jacinto Blvd, Austin, Texas 78705 Sign up with Mrs. Reyes (AP upstairs office) Project Princess is APRIL 10th (Sunday) Transportation is provided

38 RSVP RSVP: Raising Student Voice and Participation
What is it? A school-wide program to empower all students to identify and solve problems facing our school and community. Who do we need?   Everyone will participate in the in-class summits Approximately 20 students to serve on the Leadership Team: if interested, attend meetings in A217 on Monday, March 7 and Tuesday, March 8 after school until 6:00 p.m.  Future meetings will be held after school.
