2. How has this course changed your perception of digital media???
When I first entered this course I thought it was going to about topics and things I wouldn’t need in my future. Going in to the semester I started understanding the concept of digital media, I then started to see why this course is important. It talked about different types of media that are out there. We talked about color and File management.

3. How has the discussion of color theory and color management affected your understanding and use of digital media???
Color theory has defiantly affected the way I understand media. First off I never truly understood how important color is in digital media until I took this course. Color theory helped me understand how different colors work on and offline in media. How putting the same color red on different substrates affects the color. Managing color is a different method that was also new. You can manage your color preferences when you use different software's like adobe for example with photoshop. Photoshop is the only one by adobe that has all color files. Like for example in its color picker you will RGB,CMYK,HSB, and hexadecimals. Each has a percentage box next to it and you can change each color attribute to your preference. This allows you to make different shades of color which id important if you want get in to branding color. Coca Cola red is a special type of red that you will only see on there can/bottle.

5. How do you feel about 3D printing
When the idea of 3D printing came out I was very excited. I’m interested in fashion. So the idea of 3D printing your clothes or styles even patterns was exciting to think about. Already designer have incorporated 3D printing in there clothing. Like DVF Diane Von Furstenberg new line of clothing is all 3D printing which is crazy to think of. You make the design on a computer and print it on out and you have a skirt. If people are able to afford these products and are knowledgeable on the product know one who step inside a store ever again. I can predict in a couple years that certain jobs might fall because of this invention or advance.

Design your own shoes and walk out in them, I think this is just the beginning of what the future holds in design and fashion.

7. Has Digital Media supported the idea of 3D printing?
Has digital media supported the idea of 3D printing? I would say yes it has because designer use 3D printing a lot in there demonstrations of work. I do know in game making they use the idea of 3D printing to make character's for there video games. If you have the tools and imagination 3D printing can take you far. I personally believe that 3D is not having enough hype or attention. It only comes to light so far in fashion the most I noticed.
