2. TURKEY
Last week my family and I travelled to Chios for two days. The third day we went to Turkey. On Saturday we woke up early to catch the boat. The trip was wonderful, but I got very dizzy. When we arrived in Turkey, the sun was shining and the birds were singing. When we got in the bus, Mr. Mehmet showed us an old Orthodox church. There, on this Saturday the Orthodox Christians celebrated The Resurrection for the first time after 90 years. We went to an old building called «ASANSÖR». It was about 50m. high. After that, we ate lunch and then we bought a watch and a pair of shoes for me. Suddenly, we realized that we spent a lot of time there and we had to go back to the bus. I like Turkey, because all the people speak a different language, Turkish. During the trip back to Chios, it started raining. Anyway, it was a beautiful journey. It’s a pity we stayed there for only one day.
