6. How to Join
This procedure is specific to Nigeria and the Student Chapter. The following steps should be followed:
Meet any member of the Executive Committee (Listed at the end of this presentation).
Indicate interest to join (an ACS eGift Card may be purchased for you to proceed for registration online) or
Visit join.acs.org; (Make sure to confirm from your bank that your ATM Card (VISA or MasterCard) is enabled for online banking and your account is funded with at least N8,000). The actual Registration fee is about N6,500. Most Banks have charges and retain minimum account balance (often N1,000).
After registration and payment online, download your payment receipt.
Submit a copy of the payment receipt to the Secretary of the Student Chapter for documentation.
