1 From: Paclitaxel-Eluting Stents vs Vascular Brachytherapy for In-Stent Restenosis Within Bare-Metal StentsThe TAXUS V ISR Randomized Trial JAMA. 2006;295(11): doi: /jama Figure Legend: Diagram is not to scale. Longitudinal quantitative coronary angiographic measures reported in patients randomized to (A) vascular brachytherapy or (B) paclitaxel-eluting stent. The injury segment is defined as the proximal to distal length of any balloon angioplasty or stent catheter contact against the arterial wall. The radiation segment is defined as the total axial length of the β radiation source train deployed, taking into account manual or automatic stepping. The in-stent segment is defined as the total measured length of newly implanted paclitaxel-eluting stents. The analysis segment is defined as the in-stent segment plus 5-mm proximal and distal margins for the paclitaxel-eluting stent group, and the radiation segment plus 5-mm proximal and distal margins for the vascular brachytherapy group. 2 From: Paclitaxel-Eluting Stents vs Vascular Brachytherapy for In-Stent Restenosis Within Bare-Metal StentsThe TAXUS V ISR Randomized Trial JAMA. 2006;295(11): doi: /jama Figure Legend: No major adverse cardiac events occurred in the 11 patients without 9-month clinical follow-up either during the index hospitalization or at the time of latest follow-up, which ranged from 1 to 172 days. The number of patients eligible for randomization was not tracked during the course of enrollment. Date of download: 10/20/2017

3 From: Paclitaxel-Eluting Stents vs Vascular Brachytherapy for In-Stent Restenosis Within Bare-Metal StentsThe TAXUS V ISR Randomized Trial JAMA. 2006;295(11): doi: /jama Figure Legend: Patients who were event-free at 284 days or later are censored at 285 days. Intervals are end inclusive (eg, interval 30 is defined as 0 to 30 inclusive). Date of download: 10/20/2017

4 From: Paclitaxel-Eluting Stents vs Vascular Brachytherapy for In-Stent Restenosis Within Bare-Metal StentsThe TAXUS V ISR Randomized Trial JAMA. 2006;295(11): doi: /jama Figure Legend: At 9 months, the reduction in mean percent diameter stenosis for the paclitaxel-eluting stent group relative to the vascular brachytherapy group was −13.8% (95% confidence interval, −18.4% to −9.2%; P<.001).
