By using a paired t test, differences between SCORAD index means at admission and discharge were significant (t, 18.93; df, 71; P < .001). Of note, the gap between the blue and red bars gets smaller from left to right, which demonstrates that the greater the severity of AD at admission, the greater the improvement.
