1. Business Planning – Lesson 9a
It is now time to write the Forecasting section of your Business Plan and add it to our GoogleDocs plan. This is to be done by the whole group, led by the Finance manager
1. Write an introduction about the importance of having forecasting for your business and introduce the different forecasting tools that you will use.
2. Include a break-even analysis chart for your product or service
You can use the break-even chart template located on Mcmoodle to create your break even analysis chart. You will need to save the file as then import into your word document
You will need to insert your own data into the section on the chart . The graph will be created as you enter the data and the break even amounts will be calculated.
3. Include cash flow projections if not done in the financial section of your plan.
If included in finance section – reference back to this section of the plan
4. Include a basic budget for the financial year – for this business plan your budget should include the start-up costs for your business. Try to list all the costs associated with starting your business. These may include items such as:
Plant and equipment
Rent al expenses
Initial wage costs
Insurance
Raw Materials ( items which allow you to produce the goods/service)
