4 Objectives/Scope Technical assistance to improve export-readiness
Gender responsive inclusive of MSMEs & rural-based firms 26 Goods/Services firms with export potential 16 - Tier 1; 10 - Tier 2&3) Gap analysis & customized development plans Market research; capacity building; trade missions Capacity building of exporTT staff Share lessons learnt; Mentorship programme Technical assistance to improve the export-readiness of firms for EU markets.  Capacity building of exporTT staff to provide trade support services that are gender responsive and private sector inclusive  Identify 26 goods/services enterprises with export potential (16 Tier 1 & 10 Tier 2&3)   Conduct research on 3 EU markets Prepare, implement and monitor export and capacity-building plans for Tier 2 and 3 firms to meet market requirements Execute 2 market penetration missions (goods/services) to 3 EU markets (for Tier 1 firms); Share EU market experiences with national/regional stakeholders; Develop mentoring programme for Tier 2/3 firms. 30%: Women led/Rural United Nations Beijing Platform for Action which was signed by Member Countries in 1995.  Two (2) of the strategic objectives are to (F2): “facilitate women’s equal access to resources, employment, markets and trade” and (F3): “provide business services, training and access to markets, information and technology, particularly to low-income women.” - Over 50% of households are headed by women. In every region of the world women spend twice as much time as men on unpaid domestic responsibilities and invest more in their children’s health and education.  Increasing the economic benefit to women, ie increase the disposable income available to women will lead to better health and educational attainment of children, greater productivity as adults and by extension, future poverty reduction and contribution to human and economic development;
