Do emotions affect self-esteem? What are some of the ways that emotions affect self-esteem? What affects the way that we feel? How much control do we have over our emotions?

What are some of the ways that we can try to control our emotions? What are some ways we can control the way we let others affect our emotions? What actions can we take to improve our own self-esteem and that of others around us?

Things we know… According to kidshealth.org:
“Kids who feel good about themselves seem to have an easier time handling conflicts and resisting negative pressures.” A sense of accomplishment or lack of accomplishment helps develop a child’s self-esteem even from the earliest stages. For example: Learning to roll over o your own or getting a spoon into your mouth starts to teach a child about their own abilities
