for Targeting Environmental Information Users Brewer: NIDIS Drought Portal Spinning up regional pilot activities and regional depiction of drought Working with GEO to begin addressing global and international drought monitoring and forecasting Herring: Climate Portal: Technical Steps to a Successful Deployment Finalize and baseline portal requirements document • Development Team begins work; User testing … ongoing and often! • Stand up portal infrastructure at NCDC • Secure FGDC metadata from participating offices for Phase 1 data/products • Alpha and Beta reviews; Continue enhancements of functionality and content • On-line release to public (~ September 2009) Rutledge: GEOSS Architecture Implementation Pilot What are your agency’s current plans for exposing or publishing your pertinent metadata and/or information to the GEOSS Common Infrastructure -GCI? What, if any, are your preferred interfaces to expose this information? What, if any, are your concerns or technical issues that may prevent or interfere with interacting with the GCI? How can ESIP play a role? Kihn: CLASS SNAAP API Plan transition to operations (CLASS Team) Plan to include non-granule based asynchronus (i.e. models, transforms) data extractions Enhance the connection with GEO-IDE Upgrade to DAI DONE Expand proto-type to cover more NOAA and non-NOAA data types and services and document lessons learned Release the work to the public: Metadata tool is available as VxOware Work on single user sign-on.
