What is observation? An act of watching* something and taking note of what happens. Observation is used with all five human senses. You make observations so that you can ask questions.

Color Changing Milk Experiment/Procedure: Conclusion
1. Pour milk into bowl to cover the bottom. 2. Add one drop of the four colors (yellow, red, blue, and green). Put dish washing soap on the tip of the Q-tip. Put the Q-tip in the middle of the milk bowl and hold for 15 seconds. Repeat this step and put the Q-tip anywhere in the bowl. Conclusion

Color Changing Milk Explanation:
Milk is made of water, vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fat. Adding soap weakens the chemical bonds that hold the proteins together. So all the fat molecules bend, roll, and twist and bump into each other.
