4. WELCOME TO CAREER SERVICES
Established in 1995, personnel 3+1
The main function is to facilitate graduates’ employment by providing information on open vacancies, offering career counselling and training in effective job hunting, organizing recruiting events etc.
The information on vacancies is delivered via -list, vacancy database on the web and notice board at the university campus
We also gather information and deliver reports of graduates’ employment and careers 1 – 5 years after graduating

5. SERVICE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Individual counselling: effective job hunting (documents, interview briefings), career guidance and information service
Applying for a Job in Lapland – International Student’s Guide
Delivering information on vacancies (jobs, internships) by list (mainly Finnish employers -> ads in Finnish)
New project to enhance international students’ training possibilities in Finland starting 2010 (VALOA project)
