The data collection template
Economic parameters Process flows Process inputs and emissions Labour Process parameters for effluents Time plan foreseen in June: Initial comments by end of June Trial round by mid/end of July Please refer back to presentation for some more graphs
5
Data collection The systems are divided in 4 parts
For each part there are sheets for: Economic parameters Process flows Process inputs and emissions Labour Process parameters for effluents
6
Data needs - example of things to consider
7
Data collection – Economic parameters
Purchase cost Economic lifespan The number of years in which the asset returns more value to the owner than it costs to own, operate, and maintain. Read as the number of years you would expect to have it in operation. Residual value Value after the economic lifespan. Can be negative if costs of getting rid of the equipment costs more than the scrap value.

Data collection – Process flows
Main inputs and outputs

Data collection We now ask you to explain the main difficulties
Difficult to understand the template? Difficult to find the requested data? The units given are not what we would use? Time has not allowed us to contribute? Are the process schemes incorrect or incomplete? All spontaneous contributions are welcome now, but in addition you will receive invitations from Emilia and Ana Martha to smaller meetings (1-2 partners at a time). If you have made an initial effort to fill in what you can, these meetings will be much more efficient!
12
Data collection You may find it useful to look back at Deliverable 7.1 to grasp the data needs and structure your input
13
Market analysis Work is ongoing We will turn to specific partners for input on particular aspects, from the end of this year!
14
Thanks for your cooperation!
