Citizenship – 2,500 years old Greeks/ Romans Citizens: men who owned property About 195 countries in world Still about 20 countries that don’t have voting system Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bhutan, Brunei, etc. “E Pluribus Unum” – Latin Back of all U.S. coins “Out of many, One” MEANING: Diverse people but created single, strong nation
