What are the benefits? How does it work? What is Workplace Financial Wellness? Today, I’d like to talk to you about the Workplace Financial Wellness program — what it is, all the ways it can benefit you and how it works.

The challenge: Employees don’t feel financially secure
We know that employers like you face a number of challenges. And a significant one is that some of your employees may not feel financially secure. What kind of problems does that create? Employees who are worrying about their finances may be less productive, have lower morale and be harder to retain. Americans aren’t saving enough
The previous slide showed most workers feel behind when it comes to retirement saving — and for good reason. As you can see, personal savings rates have gotten very low over time, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

Employees gain a better appreciation and understanding of the benefits you provide. Potential for improved employee morale and retention. Workplace productivity may increase as employees are less distracted by financial concerns. Offering financial advice to employees becomes less of a burden. You get all this without increasing your benefits cost. How can the program benefit you? Regardless of the size of your business or the type of benefits you provide, Workplace Financial Wellness offers several advantages, including: Employees gain a better appreciation and understanding of the benefits you provide. Employee benefits are a huge expense. We can help educate your employees about the value of the benefits you provide, as well as ways to make the most of their benefits. Potential for improved employee morale and retention. Employees who feel more in control of their financial situation are often happier and more likely to stay with a company. Workplace productivity may increase as employees are less distracted by financial concerns. As the graphic I shared earlier showed, a large percentage of employees admit their productivity is affected by financial worries. Offering financial advice to employees becomes less of a burden. This is a big responsibility, and we can handle it for you. You get all this without increasing your benefits cost. Again, this program has no out-of-pocket costs for you or your employees.

A review of life and disability insurance needs A comprehensive financial needs analysis If your employees choose to meet with us individually, we can provide them with A review of life and disability insurance needs. We’ll help them understand why risk protection is key to a sound financial strategy. A comprehensive financial needs analysis. This includes more education about the benefits you provide, Social Security and other government plans, integrating personal planning and employee benefits, and how employees can reach their overall financial goals.

Ready to get started? It’s easy: Workplace Financial Wellness
We both sign the employer agreement. You provide your employee list and an overview of your benefits package. You introduce us to your employees with an announcement letter and brochure we provide you. We start conducting meetings with your employees. Think the program is a good fit for your company? Implementing it is easy: After we sign the employer agreement, you just need to provide us with your employee list and an overview of the benefits you provide. Then, we’ll provide an announcement letter and brochure that your HR department can send to each employee before I contact them personally. These materials introduce the program and me, and they aren’t intended as an endorsement of any of the services we provide. Finally, I can proceed with group sessions and complimentary individual meetings.
