3 Seventh Planet From The Sun
Uranus’ distance from the sun is 2.88 billion kilometers. One day on Uranus is 17 hours and 14 minutes. One year on Uranus is 84.3 Earth years. Uranus has 27 moons. The coldest that Uranus can get is -200 degrees Fahrenheit to -370 degrees Fahrenheit.

4 Planet of the Gods The description of the surface of Uranus is very icy and cold, with lots of gas. It may be hard to say that it actually has a surface. Uranus was discovered March 13th, 1781 by William Herschel. Uranus got it’s name from the Greek god of the sky, Zeus.

5 Zeus’ Planet Uranus is the coldest planet in the Solar System.
It orbits the Sun on its side. A season on Uranus is 42 Earth years. Uranus is the second-least dense planet.

6 The First Planet of the Modern World
This planet has rings, kind of like Saturn’s. The atmosphere of Uranus contains lots of ice. Uranus’s largest moon is called “Miranda”. Uranus was the first planet discovered in the modern age. You can see Uranus with the unaided eye.
