Team Expectations Special Issue: U14 Boys Team will have 2 Female Players. When we are together: ALL PLAYERS ARE “PLAYERS” SHOW RESPECT FOR ALL OUR PLAYERS EQUALLY GENDER SPECIFIC COMMENTS WILL UNDERMINE THE OTHER TEAMS RESPECT FOR PLAYERS AND TEAM NO FRATERNIZATION!!

11 Team Discipline Coaches will attempt to deal with disciplinary issues on the fields, however, if a player is not responsive, the issue will be redirected to parents for correction. Issues are not expected for this team Coaches/Managers and other AYSO Volunteers are volunteers, and should be treated with respect.

12 Team Objectives Player Development To have Fun!
To become more proficient on the technical aspect of the game. To elevate our individual and team play to our maximum “Potential” To prepare our players to enjoy the game of soccer for the rest of their lives To have Fun!

13 Playing Time For Antelope, it is dictated by our Bylaws:
¾ of the game for each player (Player Development, Everyone Plays) I try not to play keepers more than a half. With 14 or 15 players, this cannot be achieved, some players will only play a half. However, this is balanced over the course of the season, and is tracked. Playing a quarter is measured by starting a quarter. Exceptions for Injuries (and note, we don’t take any chances with concussions) Other teams we play may only play some players ½ the game – that is the minimum for AYSO.

14 Playing Positions We usually work this out with the players, but often we have more volunteers for one position than we can play there. We try to expose all players to the positions they want to learn in practice and game situations. Also need to observe for the best interests of the “Team” and other players development. (This is a more competitive level of the game, and it may not be good to try a player at a new position in some circumstances)

15 Players Expectations Wear shin guards at practices and games
Bring water, or other equipment you may need (gloves, jacket, etc…) Be at practice on time ready to go! Inform Coaches of Injury’s or Illness

16 Parents Expectations Be an ambassador of the club
