Geography Saudi Arabia is between the Red Sea and the Persian Golf. Jubail is on the Persian Golf Washington State is next to the Pacific Ocean. Seattle is next to the water in Puget Sound. Lynnwood is 15 miles North of Seattle

History History CITY Jubail, KSA
The town of Al-Jubail on the Persian Gulf coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has ancient roots. Human habitation dates back at least 7,000 years, when the people of Dilmun — whose civilization radiated up and down the coast of the Persian Gulf — established a settlement here. Lynnwood, WA, USA near Seattle Note that the city of Seattle is named after Chief Sealth The Town of Seattle on the Pacific Coast of Washington State also has ancient roots The Native Americans have been living there since time immemorial (over years)establishing villages along the coast

History The history of Saudi Arabia in its current form as a state began with its foundation in 1932 by Abdulaziz Al Saud Washington became a state in The State of Washington is named after the first president of the United States and his picture appears on the State Flag. Washington in the only state to use a green background.

Cultural information The cultural setting of Saudi Arabia is Arab and Islam, and society itself is in general deeply religious, conservative, traditional, and family oriented. Many attitudes and traditions are centuries-old, derived from Arab civilization. However its culture has also been affected by rapid change, as the country was transformed from an impoverished nomadic society into a rich commodity producer in just a few years in the 1970s.The most recent ruler or king of Saudi is King Salman AL Saud.

Washington State Cultural information
Washington State is a diverse state with people coming from all over the world to study at universities or to live and work here. We have major universities and major industries in the region including Boeing and Microsoft. There are many festivals in the region. The Native Americans are still among us and have revived many of their celebrations including the return of the salmon in the fall. The state fair takes place in the fall in the city of Puyallup.

We learned a lot about Saudi Arabia that we did not know through the presentations of the students from Jubail International School Jubail, KSA Jubail is a beautiful place to live in and many initiatives has been taken by Royal Commission (the administering authority) to control the industrial pollution, which will make better environment for living Lynnwood, WA, USA Washington State is a beautiful place to live in and enjoy life where people care about their environment and we have laws to protect the water, wildlife and environment of our state.
