Synopsis We will be producing a modern day reincarnation of Sweeney Todd. Will appeal to a variety of audiences including a brand new audience. We have chosen to create an advert with a gothic tone colour scheme. We also plan to use subtle use of mirrors and reflections. Another idea is that we will use wooden floorboards with an undertone towards the storyline.

Influences This is an example of a trailer for the play we want to produce an advert for. The inspiration I am using from this is the colour pallet as it uses dark tones and sets a gothic horror theme for the film. Another influence is Dark Shadows as they use a similar colour scheme to what we want to use. I also got inspiration from the camera shots and movements as it’s quite gothic similar to Sweeney Todd. Also, the modern influence is The Legend of Barney Thompson as its similar to Sweeney Todd but has a twist and a different story than the original.
