Read daily - It could be a school book or a book of your choice. Try to read a wide range of materials such as information books, poems, stories, reports, recipes, instructions etc. Record your reading in your diary everyday.
Your spellings for this fortnight are to be learnt for a test on Friday 14th October 2016.
You can choose to learn the first 5, or all of them. You must learn them by completing four of the spelling activities.

Additional Activities – You MUST do the first 2 activities, but the 3rd one is optional:
Write an allotment/MiniBeast poem and then collect images from magazines or the internet to make a great visual background to display it.
Make/Draw a bug’s-eye plan of your classroom or bedroom. How would things look from high up there on the wall?
Optional – Try and grow something at home or in your garden and then bring it into school or take a picture to show how it has gone. Also, research about any famous botanists and what a botanist is.
