2. Objectives of discipline
The course "Strategies for Globalization and Sustainable Development" aims to study the history of the formation of the main assumptions and ideas of sustainable development; to familiarize students with the existing approaches and methods of transition to sustainable development in the world; on the development of students' skills in applying the principles and methods of analysis of specific situations in the world economy for sustainable development; on the formation of knowledge about the concept of sustainable development, the general objectives and basic principles of this area in the 21st century; the study of the concepts of sustainable development, the main ways of moving towards sustainable development at the global, regional and local levels; to explore ways to implement the principles of sustainable development in key sectors of social development; to become acquainted with the methods of communication in the process of discussing issues of sustainable development; the formation of a systematic, integrated approach to solving the environmental problems in the context of the common problems of social development.
