15 In order to meet the CFSR guidelines for Well-being, children and parents will receive adequate services to meet their physical and mental health needs, based upon information presented during the assessment process, it is recommended that Ms. Xxxxxxxxxx participate in individual and group counseling sessions to address her past traumatic experiences and to outline a plan for handling emotional outbursts.

16 In order to meet the CFSR guidelines for Wellbeing, families will have enhanced capacity to provide for their children’s needs, we recommend that Ms. Xxxxxxxxxx attend an age-specific parenting program in order to learn a new series of tools for addressing the developmental and emotional needs of a teenager. The parenting program should focus on new means for addressing concerns regarding emotional regulation in children and how to teach skills to children without the use of physical discipline.

17 In order to meet the CFSR guidelines for Safety, children are first and foremost protected from abuse and neglect, we recommend that XXX remain in his current placement and Wings of Destiny until his mother has completed the items on her case plans as they relate to anger management and appropriate discipline.

18 In order to meet the CFSR guidelines for Permanency, The continuity of family relationships and connections will be preserved, it is recommended that XXX have ongoing supervised visitation with his mother. Visitations should be supervised by a professional who will assess for bonding and attachment between the parent and the child. These visits should occur until Ms. Xxxxxxxxxx has had the appropriate therapy regarding handling her own emotional outbursts and is ready to regain custody of XXX.
