Green Communities Energy Reduction Goal is 20% 12% reduction in Municipal Energy usage FY2010-FY2014 ESCO savings expected to provide additional 12% reduction On track to exceed our energy reduction goal

3 Energy Manager’s FY15/FY16 Goals
Save Watertown Energy and Money Pursue Energy Efficiency Grants Submitted $300,000 grant application to upgrade streetlights to LED’s Reduce annual GHG emissions by 234 Tons CO2e (1/2 million vehicle miles) Reduce Watertown’s annual electrical cost $49,436 Manage Existing Energy Efficiency Grants Clean Energy Center $25,000 grant Evaluate municipal rooftops and parking lots for potential PV solar deployment Provide Town Interface to WE3C Work with WE3C on energy and sustainability projects

4 Energy Manager’s FY15/FY16 Goals
Provide Community & Educational Outreach Met with Assistant Superintendent & Curriculum Coordinator Submitted $2,250 Watertown Foundation Educational Grant Application for sustainability outreach program materials Manage Green Community Requirements Compile annual & grant status reports Help manage ESCO final acceptance and M&V process Final Commissioning – punch list items are being completed Measurement and Verification (M&V) is a critical ongoing process to ensure our guaranteed savings are realized
