All 7th and 8th grade athletics are run through the JHS athletic office. There is not any part of administration that is run through Community Education Administrative Notes

Review Handbook Communication policy and 24 hour rule.
Please give 24 hours before talking to coach about issues that may have come up. Playing time expectations—”fair play” not equal play. As long as your child is working hard, doing their school work, and has a good attitude they will get opportunities to play. A and B teams when necessary, based on registration numbers. This will be communicated at sport specific meetings. Review Handbook

Various dates in early August—ImPact Concussion Screening August 15—9-12 Football practice begins August 15—Grades 7-12 CC, 7-12 Tennis, 9-12 VB, 7-12 Soccer Practice Begin August 18—PAC Meeting 7 pm at JMS (7-8 VB, 7-8 FB) August 24—7-8 VB Practice Begin August 24—7-8 FB Practice Begin October 17— Grades 7-12 Dance Team Practice Begins November 7—All Winter sports PAC Meeting (basketball, wrestling, speech) November 14—7-12 Girls Basketball Practice Begin November 21—7-12 Boys Basketball and Wrestling Begin March 5 (tentative)—All Spring Sports PAC Meeting (baseball, softball, golf, track) March 13—9-12 Track and 9-12 SB Practice Begin March 20—9-12 Baseball and 9-12 Golf Practice Begin 7-8 Softball and 7-8 Baseball will have occasional practices between 3/14 and 3/31 April 3—7-8 Track Practice and 7-8 golf Begin Important Dates
