Established in 1989, HIEC brings youth, parents, education and business together in the community.
Our Goal is to enhance career education and inspire youth to make informed career decisions
We help youth make the transition from school to career by designing and implementing career education programs and promoting experiential learning.
Provide access to a dynamic Career Centre that features resources and programs that support youth throughout their lifelong career planning process.
Build partnerships between business and education that promote innovative solutions to shared issues.

The BEP connects youth, educators, and industry professionals. We offer a variety of programs that help youth explore their career options, gain meaningful professional connections, and learn valuable career skills.
Our mandate is to provide programs and experiential learning opportunities for students to help them with their career exploration by connecting industry and education
We work very closely with both school boards in Waterloo Region to ensure we are meeting the needs of the curriculum, Judy Carley and Tara Fitzgerald
Heavily rely on hundreds of volunteers from the business world to execute these programs
JA Partnership-share office space and assist each other with programs
