1. Wine Tasting Event
One in four pregnancies ends in either miscarriage, stillbirth, or death in the first few months of life. Share Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support is a community for anyone who experiences the tragic death of a baby. Share is a national organization with over 75 chapters in 29 states that serves parents, grandparents, siblings, and other family members, as well as the professionals who care for grieving families. Come out to Basel Cellars (15029 Woodinville-Redmond Rd NE #400, Woodinville, WA 98072) on Saturday, October 15 from 5-8pm to enjoy some fantastic wine while supporting a great cause. We will be celebrating October as National Infant Loss and Awareness Month as well as the Wave of Light where candles are lit at 7pm local time around the world to create a “wave of light” that flows around the world to remember babies that have died too soon. Proceeds raised will assist Share in providing Caregiver Training throughout the Puget Sound region to prepare our health care professionals when faced with a family grieving the loss of their baby. It will be a great time with some great wine. We look forward to seeing you there.
