3 Simple Present Tense The Simple Present is a form of the verb that shows the action takes place in the present. For example: Lisa dances every day. Here are the different usages of this tense: Repeating actions or habits They go to work every day Facts or things which are true at all times The earth revolves around the sun. Conditions (not actions) taking place at this moment He loves his wife.

5 Simple Future Tense The Simple Future is a form of the verb that shows the action will take place in the future. For example: Lisa will dance tomorrow. 7 Future Perfect Tense The Future Perfect is a form of the verb that shows the action will be complete before some time in the future. For example: Lisa will have danced tomorrow by 9 o'clock. Here are the different usages of this tense: An action that will happen before another action in the future He will have prepared by the time he leaves the house. An action that will happen before a specific time in the future He will have returned home by 6 o'clock. A state that will continue up to some time in the future He will have worked for us for 10 years next August.

Prepositions of PLACE “at” for a PRECISE TIME Example: “I have a meeting at 9am.” for a POINT shows an exact position Example: “She's waiting at the entrance.” “in” for MONTHS, YEARS, CENTURIES and LONG PERIODS Example: “In England, it often snows in December.” for an ENCLOSED SPACE when something is inside something Example: “I have a candy in my pocket.” “on” for DAYS and DATES Example: “Do you work on Mondays?” for a SURFACE when one thing is attached to or touching something Example: “The books are on the table.”
