3. Inquiry Card Sort
Sort cards into two piles: “What is inquiry?” and “What is not inquiry?”
Discuss at your table which cards were hard to classify, and any conditions that you would apply in classifying the cards.
Preserve your piles with paper clips.
State Task
Distribute cards.

Focus on those cards that were difficult to classify.
Have participants share their thinking.
What would you need to see to move a card to the Inquiry pile?
